Educational Philosophy.

As a Math Teacher for lower-ability students, I attempt to make Math as relative to their lives as possible. I have found that business, consumerism, dance and sports work well. I was even able to use the electoral college to teach students to convert fractions to decimals and back.

As a newer teacher I feel sometimes exasperated in a never ending battle against authority I find in my classes. In someways I was able to overcome it be relating to students about their lives outside of the Math class, but in the end it does impede quite students who do not like to ask questions with learning the math they are struggling.

I value education and try to do what I can to make the students get some of that from my class.
